Beyond the valve

Paravalves Dmmond Push-through knife gate valves are engineered and built to handle extreme working conditions for abrasive fluids and high pressure services. In addition, our SA Type push-through knife gate valves provide a bubble tight shutt-off and extended service life for the most demanding mining and mineral processing applications.

The main characteristic of the slurry knife gate valve is that it provides a full continuous flow. In open position the two rubber wear-resistant sleeves are in close contact with each other preventing the flow get inside the valve body. Installation of this equipment is done between pipeline flanges, which flange drilling can be made according to customer specifications or Paravalves standard.

At paravalves Dmmond SA push-though knife gate valves special top gate sealing concept is designed to ensure full tightness to the atmosphere even for gas or high pressure water applications.

Every design is fully hydrostatically tested at our facilities according to API 598, testing body cavity at 1.5 times the design pressure.

The design allows flow media with high consistency either for normal or reverse flow due to the bi-directional double seat design.

The knife gate rubber sleeves have been designed to avoid using flange gaskets in the pipeline. Its unique design provides a integral flange seal ensuring no leak between the knife gate valve and the pipeline.

Replaceable Rubber sleeves.

Easily replace the snap-in sleeves.

The top quality sleeves can be easily replaced on field for the knife gate. A wide range of materials are able to withstand abrasive flow medias and can give a great wear resistance performance for severe service applications.

Our unique sleeves have been performed as precision molded elements with high strength rubbers to protect the wetted parts from corrosion and abrasion.

The monoblock body construction and the snap-in sleeves design allows maintenance to be an easy work that can be performed on field. There is no need to return the valve to factory for repair as a sleeved solution can be replaced on-site.

Direct handwheel, Gearbox, Electric actuator, Pneumatic or Hydraulic cylinder actuation types are possible with Dmmond SA Knife Gate Valves. The design allows actuators to be interchangeable each other even without removing the valve from the pipeline. It most cases, drilled according to ISO 5210 standard.
